Long-time Friends Visit the Buddha Museum

A group of strangers met during their Harvard years and became good friends. Each member came from a different country, such as Taiwan, England, Germany and Belgium. Even after they grew up and had their own families, they made a pact to gather every year and travel together. Last year it was somewhere in Europe but this year their Taiwanese member, Mr Lu, suggested visiting the Buddha Museum as their first stop.

Despite their age, they walked the length of the museum grounds with no complaints. Even though no one was a Buddhist, some members were genuinely interested in learning more about Buddhism. They experienced both calligraphy rubbing and writing. When they visited the Museum of Underground Palaces in the Main Hall, Mr Lu excitedly declared that he had actually donated something to the underground palace collection. They concluded the trip with a vegetarian lunch on the 2nd floor of the Front Hall.
