Buddha's Birthday Celebrations

May

In celebrations of the Buddha's Birthday, the Museum will be holding a series of activities, including "Walking with the Buddha" Exhibition and Workshop, Photography contest, My Big Buddha event, Public Veneration of the Tooth Relic, Bathing the Buddha Ceremony, and Praise the Buddha Grand Concert.

International Museum Day

May 18th

The International Museum Day (IMD) falls on May 18th. This year, the International Council of Museums (ICOM) has chosen the theme “Hyperconnected museums: New approaches, new publics.” It is interesting how each museum attracts new publics through new approaches and how to keep up with this hyperconnected world.

International Book Fair and Vegetarian Expo

The International Book Fair and Vegetarian Expo is organized annually with these four aims: 1. to promote Cloud and Water Mobile Libraries; 2. to promote reading; 3. to celebrate the graduation of remote school children; and 4. to promote the Good Seedlings program.

When Buddha Meets the Gods

December 25th

The "When Buddha Meets the Gods" event is held on the 25th of December every year. Each year, different religious representatives from home and abroad join in this event to celebrate religious harmony and world peace. This event has started a new chapter in the history of religion, and highlights the interaction between different religions.
