Description

With the aid of a million devotees and a thousand temples, the opening of the Buddha Memorial Center took place on December 25, 2011. This exhibition was held to commemorate the opening, which also marks the 100th anniversary of the Republic of China, hosted by the Fo Guang Shan Cultural and Educational Foundation, this exhibition displayed paintings of a hundred artists who are reputed forerunners with excellent achievements in Taiwan. The artworks exhibited at the Buddha Memorial Center presented the cultural, educational and spiritual aspects of the place. These artworks were compiled into a catalogue as a historical evidence of the opening.
