A Group Exhibition of NTCU Fine Arts Faculty

The Department of Fine Arts, National Taichung University of Education, formerly known as the Art Department of the Taichung Teacher's College, was founded in 1946 as the first professional art education institution in Taiwan. In 1992, this department was established in the Teacher's College. In 2004, the name of this department was changed to the Department of Fine Arts. In celebration of its 20th anniversary in 2024, the professors have come together to hold a joint exhibition.

There are 10 artist teachers currently belong in our department, including Lam Chin-hsien, Siu Po-ling, Chong Ming-chung, Wei Yanshun, Ko Wing-long, Kang Min-lan, Wong Shih-chun, Chen Huai'en, Lu Shiyun, Liu Ziping. Their research expertise have covers to western painting, ink painting, glue painting, lacquer art, pottery creation, printmaking, picture book, graphic design, new media art, art education, Eastern and Western art history, art theory and other professional fields, and they work together to contribute to higher art education.
